Refuse Site

The Williams Refuse Site is located approximately 1km from the town, on the Narrogin Road and is open on the following days:

Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sunday from 9am to 3pm.

Household Refuse Collection

Councils waste contractor, Avon Waste collects ‘wheelie bins’ early Tuesday mornings. Damaged bins or new services etc. are to be reported to the Shire Office who will make appropriate arrangements with Avon Waste.

Recycling

Facilities for recycling glass, newsprint paper, aluminium cans and a Good Samaratins clothing bin are located near the Shire Works Depot on Williams Road.

Used Oil Collection Facility

This new facility is located at the Council Depot on Williams Road. Residents are encouraged to dispose of their used oil at the facility.

Drum Muster

The Drum Muster yard is located adjacent to the Shire Depot on Williams Street. Drum Musters are held on the 3rd Monday of every March and September. The next Drum Muster will be held on Monday, 15th March 2010, with bookings being taken from 3 weeks prior. Contact the Council office for bookings and further information.
