Councillor's Biography:

First elected as a Councillor at the Williams Shire in the May 2003 elections. Having lived nearly all my life in Williams I am dedicated to seeing Williams prosper in the current climate of declining rural populations. I have been elected to the Commercial Development Working Group and believe that Council should become more involved in infrastructure other than the usual community facilities. In my term as Councillor I shall work hard to ascertain that the standard of facilities is maintained and improved.

As a second generation farmer I have diversified over the years to incorporate and export hay and grain plant into our family business.  Alex Watt - Councillor

Term Expires: October 2021

Representative on the following Council / Community Committees:

  • TBA

Councillor's Biography:
First elected in October 2017. I moved to Williams in 2010 with my wife and three children to start an agricultural based business. I am keen to see Williams grow and believe we have a huge advantage being on a major highway. We should use this to our full advantage to attract other businesses to town which would provide new jobs and bring new families to town. As Councillor I would support strongly any scenario put forward that would help Williams as a whole prosper into the future.
