Councillor's Biography:

This is my first term as a Councillor at the Williams Shire, after being elected in the May 2003 elections. Having lived nearly all my life in Williams I am dedicated to seeing Williams prosper in the current climate of declining rural populations. I have been elected to the Commercial Development Working Group and believe that Council should become more involved in infrastructure other than the usual community facilities. In my term as Councillor I shall work hard to ascertain that the standard of facilities is maintained and improved.

Councillor's Biography:

Newly elected in October 2009. This is my first term as a Councillor for the Williams Shire. As a teacher, a keen sports person and the mother of young children I hope to offer another perspective to Council’s decision-making process. I look forward to working with the Pride in Your Town Committee to further enhance the appearance of our district and the services and facilities that are available. I hope that by talking to members of the community I can convey their opinions and ideas to Council whilst also increasing people’s understanding of how Local Government operates.
