Dog Registrations
The recent thunderstorms illustrated the value of registering your dog and complying with the Dog Act.
During the thunderstorm a resident deposited a lost dog at the Council office with no registration tag or details of ownership on the collar. Fortunately the owner was found, however it would have been easier had the dog been registered as required under the Dog Act 1976.
Dog Registrations are due on 1 November each year, please contact the Council office for further information.
