Review of Local Laws
The Local Government Act 1995 requires Council to review Local Laws within 8 years of being adopted. Council advises that the following Local Laws will be reviewed to determine whether any law should be amended or repealed;
Swimming Pool Management and Control, Management and use of Reserves, Prevention of Damage by Implements, Hall and Sports Pavilion Control, Camping on any Land, Nuisances, Removal and Disposal of Obstructing Vehicles or Animals, Standing Orders, Fencing, Williams and Marling Cemeteries, Firebreaks.
Copies of the Laws can be viewed at the Council Office. Submissions about the proposed review may be given to the Chief Executive Officer, Shire of Williams, PO Box 96 Williams 6391 prior to the 7th April 2006.
