Williams Refuse Site - Recycling

In addition to collecting empty plastic oil containers, batteries can now be taken to the Williams Refuse site for storage and eventual recycling.

A firm (Cell Revival Pty Ltd) has offered a regular pick up from the refuse site and a payment of $60 per tonne.

Batteries and plastic oil containers can be deposited free during normal tip hours (Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, 9.00am to 3.00pm).

Council is continuing to explore options for improving recycling services.
