Water Corporation - Draft Recycled Water Agreement

a draft recycled water agreement for Council to obtain the recycled water for use on the Williams oval.

In July 2005 Council agreed to make a contribution of $300,000 (in cash and kind) towards the project which the Water Corporation is now seeking as follows –

- An initial contribution of $65000 for fencing and signage of the Williams oval.
- The balance ($235,000) to be paid annually by instalments of $13,000 (plus annual CPI) commencing in July 2010.

Council accepted the draft agreement (which is for an initial period of 5 years plus a 5 year renewal option) and enquiries will be made regarding extending the future use of water when the supply increases.
