Thanks to the Williams Pride in Your Town Committee who donated their winning prize from last years Tidy Towns Competition the Council has been able to purchase 1000 Re-useable Williams Shopping Bags. The bags are available from various retail outlets in Williams for a subsidised price of $1.00. The proceeds from bag sales will be put into purchasing further re-usable bags. Through this initiative it is hoped that ultimately no plastic bags will be used in Williams unnecessarily.
