Having lived nearly all my life in Williams I am dedicated to seeing Williams prosper in the current climate of declining rural populations. I have been elected to the Commercial Development Working Group and believe that Council should become more involved in infrastructure other than the usual community facilities. As a teacher, a keen sports person and the mother of young children I hope to offer another perspective to Council’s decision-making process. I hope that by talking to members of the community I can convey their opinions and ideas to Council whilst also increasing people’s understanding of how Local Government operates.
