Council at its meeting 21 October 2026, adopted the attached Community Chest Funding Policy.

The Shire’s Community Chest Funding Program offers eligible community groups the opportunity to apply for grants of up to $10,000 and in-kind support for local projects, events and initiatives.

Council considers applications on a case-by-case basis, subject to budget availability.

Revenue from Tip Shop sales and recyclable materials sold at the Williams Waste Transfer Station helps fund the program.
