DEVELOPMENT APPLICATION – PROPOSED STORAGE SHED: 5 MARJIDIN WAY, WILLIAMS

The Shire has received a planning application proposing a 432m2 storage on the on the industrial property at 5 Marjidin Way, Williams

The Shires Town Planning Scheme requires buildings to be setback 16.5 metres from the rear lot boundary. The storage shed is proposed to be setback 6.5m from the rear -eastern boundary.

In accordance with Clause 2.11 of the Scheme, the Shire is considering waiving a requirement for the rear (eastern) setback and the Shire is therefore providing notice of its intentions.
Prior to determining this application, the Shire invites public comment on the proposal. The plans can be viewed at the Shire of Williams, 9 Brooking Street, Williams during office hours or on the Shire website https://www.williams.wa.gov.au/news/public-notices

Should you wish to make a submission on the proposal, your comments (in writing) will need to be lodged by 4pm 8 October 2026.

Public comments will be presented to the Council at its meeting 21 October 2026
